Professor Ir. Dr. Hazlie Bin Mokhlis Hazlie Mokhlis received a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree and Master of Engineering Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Malaya in 1999 and 2003 respectively, PhD degree from the University of Manchester in 2009. He is currently a Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Malaya, specializing in Electrical Power Systems. He had held several administrative positions; Deputy Dean of Research (2013-2014), Deputy Dean of Postgraduate Studies (2014-2015, 2017-2018), Deputy Dean of Undergraduate Studies (2018-2019) and Head of Department (2015-2017) at the Faculty of Engineering. Dr Hazlie is actively involved in research as a principal investigator with a total amount of research grants worth more than RM 2.5 million. He is the author and co-author of more than 300 publications in international journals and proceedings in the area of Power Systems and Energy. Up to now, he had successfully supervised to completion of 32 PhD, 10 Master (by research), and 56 Master (Mix-mode and Course Work) candidates. His outstanding research had been recognized as one of the World's Top 2% Scientists in 2020 and 2021 by Stanford University. In 2021, he was selected as one of the Top Research Scientists Malaysia. He also involves actively as a reviewer for an international journals such as IEEE transaction on Power Systems, IEEE Transactions on Sustainable Energy, IET Generation, Transmission & Distribution, International Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems, Applied Soft Computing, Energy Conversion & Management, and several international conferences. Besides involve with research, he is also active in the development of Malaysian Standards as a member of Working Group in Development of Malaysian's Power System Analysis and Studies (WG6) and Expert Representative in IEC standard development for project TC 8/PT 62786. His research interest includes fault location, network reconfiguration, islanding operation, islanding detection, and renewable energy. Prof Hazlie is a Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council UK and a Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia. Currently, he is Chair for IEEE Power Energy Society, Malaysia Chapter.

Associate Prof. Ir. Dr. Hazlee Azil Illias Hazlee Azil Illias was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He received the Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Malaya, Malaysia in May 2006. Then, he immediately joined Freescale Semiconductors (M) Sdn. Bhd. as a product engineer before pursuing his PhD studies in January 2008. He obtained the PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom in May 2011. He was a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Malaya from July 2011 to January 2017. Since January 2017, he has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Malaya. He was the Head of Department of Electrical Engineering from September 2013 to July 2014. Since joining the University of Malaya, he has received funding and grants of nearly RM 2.8M (~USD 0.88M), published more than 40 journal papers in ISI-indexed publications and 40 refereed conference papers and successfully supervised to completion of 3 PhD, 3 Master's Degree by research and 15 Master's Degree project (by coursework) candidates. He is an active reviewer for numerous high quality journals, which include IEEE Transactions on Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation, IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery and Measurement. Since November 2011, he has been the Head of University of Malaya High Voltage Laboratory and Research Group. Since June 2015, he has been the Secretary of IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society (DEIS) Malaysia Chapter. He is currently a Member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology) and IEM (Institution of Engineers Malaysia), a registered Chartered Engineer (C.Eng) and a Professional Engineer (P.Eng). His main research interests include modelling and measurement of partial discharge phenomena in solid dielectric insulation, condition monitoring, insulation system diagnosis, lightning overvoltage, transmission line modelling, optimisation methods and artificial intelligence techniques.

Dr. Nurulafiqah Nadzirah Mansor Nurulafiqah Nadzirah Mansor received her Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree from Vanderbilt University, United States in 2008, double majoring in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics. Shortly after came back to Malaysia, she was offered to work with Texas Instruments (M) Sdn Bhd as a Process Engineer from 2008-2014 where she has obtained an extensive experience in semiconductor manufacturing processes. She was then pursued her Master of Engineering (M.Eng) in Power System Engineering at University of Malaya, Malaysia from 2011-2013 and subsequently obtained her PhD degree from University of Manchester, United Kingdom in 2018. She is currently a senior lecturer at the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Malaya. Dr Afiqah is currently active setting up her path in research particularly in power system development and operation planning, dynamic integration of renewables and low carbon-technologies, mathematical modelling and optimisation of power system, network reconfiguration, etc. At present, she has applied multiple research grants as a principle and co-investigator to expand her research works. She is the author of multiple journals and conference proceedings published in highly reputable journals and conferences such as IEEE Transactions on Power System and conferences organized by the IEEE Power Energy System (PES). She also actively serves as reviewer for multiple international journals such as IEEE Transactions on Power Systems and IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid.

Wong Jee Keen Raymond received the Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (1st Class Honors) and Master of Electrical Engineering from Universiti Tenaga Nasional in 2010 and 2013 respectively. He obtained his PhD from Universiti Malaya in 2016. He worked as a Product Engineer at Motorola Solutions (2010-2011), Senior Lecturer (2016-2018), and Programme Leader (2019-2021) at Tunku Abdul Rahman University College. Since 2021, he has been working as a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Malaya. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng UK), Professional Engineer (PEng BEM), Senior Member of IEEE, Member of IET, Member of IEM, and Professional Technologist of MBOT. He was the Honorary Secretary for IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society (DEIS) Malaysia from 2020-2023. His main research interests include insulation condition monitoring, partial discharge phenomenon, machine learning, and deep learning applications in fault location and classification. To date, he has secured over RM 394,000 in grant funding as the Principal Investigator.
